Christmas Presents
Money is always a favorite.
A cute candy dish from me.
A beautiful decorative plate from my friend.
I made a picture book to not forget good memories.
Oliver
This chicken was named after my friend's new baby. Her baby is cuter, of course, but I love my chicken! And I love that it reminds me to pray for her and her family. The first day I gave this chicken a bath and dried it with the hair dryer! Chickens don't normally take baths, in case you were wondering. :) But she smells better now.
Lake House
Here is the outside and inside of our friend's house that gets flooded every time there are heavy rains. Our socks got wet but we dried them out by their coal stove.

Real Candy Canes!
Yes, I finally found real peppermint candy canes at the store this year! They are delicious dipped in hot chocolate heated up on the stove. I was thankful for this special treat during the holiday time.
4th Annual Cookie Decorating Party
The ladies were very creative. Some had taken painting classes before and used their skills to blend the frosting colors to create masterpieces!
Here's our delicious peanut butter and chocolate chip reindeer cookies.
Here's another specialty for Christmas--chocolate dipped pretzels. They were difficult to make, but a big hit.
The kids also enjoyed decorating and got to take home their cookies.
You can see that our living room was quite full, and this is just half the group!
Playing 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing'
Our neighbor's daughter practiced all week to learn the notes of two Christmas hymns. She was a bit nervous but the ladies sang along with us too! How wonderful to hear them singing about our Savior.
