My cat

This little guy adopted us last summer when he was just a kitten.  He used to sneak into our backyard and drink the chicken's water but now he comes to our front door and meows and waits for us to give him some food.  He looks so soft and I just want to put him but he's too wild.

Ringing in the New Year

 We made second annual log cake and ate it on our new plates.

What a celebration!  It's going to be a great year!  Yeah, we picked those off the floor and threw them. :)

A Special Christmas Visitor

My friend's mom came to visit us for Christmas time and we had a great time hanging out together, especially by the sea for tea! We taught her how to play Quirkle and it was a big hit!

Great Memories from Oregon

I had the best time hanging out with my sister and my nieces on our hike in the forest!

And I am so proud of my two brave nieces who jumped into the icy water!

My oldest niece took us to a great sushi restaurant and I had fun trying the sushi she recommended!  I am so thankful to get to spend these special times with each of my nieces.  God blessed us with lots of time together and I will never forget it!

 I had a second birthday celebration and made myself cheesecake!  Don't count the candles, it's deceiving.  There should be way more.

Double yolk egg!

At first we thought this huge egg was from one of our ducks but it turned out to be a double-yolked chicken egg! No wonder one of them was yelling so much! :)

Birthday Surprise!

I love this sweater that I got as a present!  Just in time to sport the reindeer for Christmas!

 

I had no idea that I was going to be surprised with a cake and sweets!
