My adopted family came all the way from California to see me!

I am so glad I got to meet this sweet friend who loves to have fun.  She is a great listener with a beautiful smile.

I have known her since she was a baby!  I can't believe how much she has grown up.  She is a patient and kind teenager who is full of courage.

I have known this fun young lady since before she was even born.  I came to stay at their house for her first weeks to help out.  She always has been a little princess and is growing up to be beautiful inside and out!

I met this little man for the first time on this trip.  He is creative and unique and I am so glad he came!

 They are playing Forbidden Bridge, which was one of our favorites as kids.  You push the statue's head and the bridge rocks and knocks off your guys with their jewels.  It's seriously loads of fun!

Ice Skating

One thing I wanted to do with my nieces was go ice skating.

Here we go!

It's like riding a bike, you just can't forget.  My sister used to take me ice skating every month when I was 5 and 6 years old and it stuck!

We had a good time together.

We got to celebrate my niece's birthday early while we were there.  She's going to be 13!

Bicycle

 Every week there is a fruit and vegetable market. We were excited to be able to take our bikes!

We coasted home with our fruit and vegetables for the week.

  Sometimes we run into friends on our bike rides.

We love being able to get out and enjoy the beauty of our neighborhood. I am thankful for our bikes!

Enjoying a bit of snow

I made a short trip to the capital and got to make a mini snowmen!  The only thing I miss in our new home is eating snow and playing in it but I am thankful for the opportunity God gave me to do that this year.
